Arlington Celebrates 30 Years of Public Art (image of Dark Star Park)

CELEBRATING 30 YEARS OF ARLINGTON PUBLIC ART
Sept. 17, 18, 20 & Oct 18
multiple events & tours, including a panel
with art critic Michael O'Sullivan (Washington Post)

A panel discussion led by Washington Post art critic Michael O'Sullivan at Arlington Art Center (Thu., Sept. 18) on how the presence of public art in Arlington has grown in Arlington over the past four decades is one of numerous events marking the 30th Anniversary of Arlington Public Art. Nationally lauded for a public art presence that Washington City Paper lauded as one of the area's "brightest artistic lights," Arlington Public Art also invites you to join in the dedication of its newest project (Sept. 17), or take one of two distinct tours of our collection by bus (Sept 20 & Oct. 18). All events are free. For details on all events, visit: www.publicart.arlingtonva.us
