A world-premiere by the authors of the highly-acclaimed 'The Filthy Habit' (2012), Blue Viola tells the true story of a junk dealer and dreamer who steals a priceless viola from a prominent musician at the Chicago Symphony, only to discover that the instrument is a fake. Featuring a hilarious libretto by Matt Boresi and a blues-infused score by Peter Hilliard. UrbanArias short, contemporary works are fun and accessible to a broad range of audiences.
