FY26 Arts Grants

Applications due June 18

Individual artists and arts organizations are encouraged to apply for the Fiscal Year 2026 Arts Grants Program!

The Individual Artist (IA) Grant supports individual artists with grants in the amount of $15,000 in direct financial support, and the General Operating Support (GOS) Grant supports arts organizations with financial grants for General Operating Support. All individual artists and arts organizations applying for a grant are required to attend an Arts Grants Preparation Workshop (IA: May 6/8; GOS: May 6/7. These workshops provide an overview of the FY 2026 Arts Grants Program and include step-by-step directions for completing the application.

Summer Concerts at Lubber Run Amphitheater!

Celebrating their 75th Anniversary, the venerable community theater The Arlington Players open the summer season at Arlington’s Lubber Run Amphitheater with the musical “You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown.” This special two weekend run kicks off the Free LUBBER RUN AMPHITHEATER Summer Concert Series (June 6-8; and June 13-15). The rest of the Summer Concert Series continues through August 1.

Arlington Seeks 2025-2027 Poet Laureate Applications

Arlington County is seeking its official Poet Laureate for the 2025-2027 term.

The work of four regional artists-in-residence (AIR) will help activate a new flexible outdoor performance space at 2700 S Nelson Street, adjacent to the Arlington Cultural Affairs building located at 3700 South Four Mile Run Drive, with work that is representative of the rich diversity of Arlington County.

Enriching Lives - Arlington Arts and Culture Strategy

The Arlington Arts Commission completed a comprehensive study of the arts and culture ecosystem in Arlington resulting in goals and strategies meant to provide Arlington arts stakeholders with tangible goals to create a thriving artistic and cultural community that supports the foundation of Arlington’s sense of place.
